Today in science we learned that you can never gain cold, you can only have an absence of heat; and it made me think that maybe hatred doesn’t exist, and there’s only an absence of love.
this is the realist shit I’ve ever read

One choice can DESTROY you
One choice will DEFINE you

I would greatly appreciate it if you guys could reblog this.
I’m really excited for this (and a little scared with how intense this is going to be)!
What’s going to happen (hopefully):
I’m going to post between 1-5 questions every day, asking you guys to state which book you think…

naobro’s “What Japan Is All About” blog #10; 05/09/2013
The image reblogged from megajapan. Do you know what this character above is all about? You may have heard its name, “Doraemon”. Consider it one of Japan’s national characters. (If there ever was such a thing; consider it like Mickey Mouse to the U.S.) “Doraemon” is a robot from the future. The robot was produced in 2112 (99 years from now) modeled after a cat. Originally it had ears but it lost them to a rat. The robot came back in time from the future to live with a Japanese boy, “Nobita”. This “manga” (cartoon) character was created by “Fujiko Fujio” (2 Japanese cartoonists as one). It first appeared in a children’s magazine in 1969 then on a TV animation show in 1973. From 1979 to this date in 2013 “Doraemon” has never been off the air.

I like living. I have sometimes been wildly, despairingly, acutely miserable, racked with sorrow; but through it all I still know quite certainly that just to be alive is a grand thing.
